Directions

By Car

From the south take Route 87 North (NYS Thruway) to Exit 24 at Albany. Continue north on Route 87 toward Albany/Montreal. Take exit 21 for Lake George Village(9N). At the end of the ramp turn right toward village (9N North). At traffic light turn left onto route 9 & 9N North. At .5 miles you'll pass Prospect Mountain on your left. Go another .5 miles and turn left on Mohican Street (between The Pancake House and Lobster Pot). At the end of Mohican turn left onto Prospect St. Take Prospect until you see the sign for "Prospect Heights" then bear left. 9B is the first house on the right.

From the north take Route 87 South (Adirondack Northway) to Exit 21. At the end of the ramp turn left toward village (9N North).. (see above).
From the west take Route 90 East (NYS Thruway) Exit 24 to Albany. At Albany continue north on Route 87 (Adirondack Northway) to Exit 21. (see above)
From the east take Route 90 West (NYS Thruway) Exit 24 to Albany. At Albany continue north on Route 87 (Adirondack Northway) toExit 21. (see above)

By Air

The Albany Airport is 50 miles south of the Lake George Area. Car rentals and bus service are available. Some area lodging properties provide shuttle service.

Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport, Queensbury. Private planes and charters. 518-798- 3091. Prearranged car rentals are available, area hotels may offer shuttle service.

By Train

AMTRAK serves New York City to Montreal with daily stops in Fort Edward, about 15 miles from the Lake George Area. Car rentals, taxi and Greater Glens Falls Transit System shuttles (by appointment—518-792-1085) are available from the station.

By Bus

Adirondack Trailways and Greyhound maintain a regular schedule to the Lake George Area.
